THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A search for the fishermen who went missing after their boat overturned in Muthalapozhy, has resumed. Search continues for Usman, Musthafa and Samad, natives of Varkala. The search is being carried out with the help of coastguard's small aircraft. Police informed that there is a possibility of the fishermen to get entangled in the net. Meantime, the locals are blocking the road in Perumathura alleging that the rescue operation is being delayed.

Two people died last afternoon after their boat overturned due to strong winds and waves. Bad weather is hindering the rescue operations. The search which stopped at 3 pm yesterday resumed this morning. The service of divers has also been sought. Nine people were rescued by people who arrived in other boats at the time of the accident. Nine swam to safety.
