NEW DELHI: Popular comedian and Bollywood actor Raju Srivastava (58) died on Wednesday after being in hospital for more than a month.
Srivastava suffered a heart attack while working out in a gym at a hotel in Delhi. He died this morning at 10.20 am. He was serving as Uttar Pradesh Film Development Council Chairman.
Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh condoled his death. He suffered a heart attack on August 10 and was admitted at AIIMS. He underwent an angioplasty and was in the ventilator since then.
He was working in television from 1980. He became famous through The Great Indian Lottery Challenge of 2005. He had partaken in Big Boss Season 3 in Hindi. He had acted in many films including Maine Pyar Kiya, Basigar, Bombay to Goa etc.
