Raju Thottam becomes only Indian to receive Best Actor nomination at Godard International Film Festival

Raju Thottam has been nominated for Best Actor at the 5th Godard International Film Festival for his performance in Malayalam film ‘Holy Father’. Raju Thottam became the only Indian to receive a Best Actor nomination at this international film festival, which was attended by 87 countries. He resides in United states.

This Best Actor nomination is for the portrayal of a sixty-year-old father named Rosario who suffers from dementia. Raju Thottam, who played the lead role in 'Holy Father' has received state, national and international awards for best actor six times so far.

The final screening and award ceremony will be held at Rotary Sadan Auditorium, Kolkata on 12th. The film is a must watch for children who leave their parents at old age.

The main attraction of this film, which was shot in 18 days in Ernakulam, Vagamon, Kuttikanam and Fort Kochi, is its background music. The background music of the film is composed by famous music director Kailas Menon. The songs are composed by Stilu Arjun. The film will soon be released in OTT. The film written and directed by journalist Bright Sam Robbins, is produced by Nithin Thottam under the banner of Bharatham Arts.
