Driver of minister's personal staff also involved in sexually assaulting woman doctor in museum, complainant identifies accused

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Santhosh of Malayinkeezhu, is also the accused in the case of sexually assaulting a woman doctor, who was on a morning walk, near Museum. She identified the attacker Wednesday morning. The identification parade was held at the Peroorkada Station.

Santhosh is the driver of Minister Roshy Augustine’s personal staff. Meantime, the arrest of Santhosh has been registered in the incident of barging into a house in Kuravankonam for an alleged robbery bid. His arrest will be registered soon in the Museum attack.

The Peroorkada police took Santhosh into custody last night in the incident of barging into the house in Kuravankonam. The police had confirmed that it was the same person who sexually assaulted the doctor. The doctor was summoned and an identification parade was held. He had made some changes like tonsuring his head so that he could not be identified so easily.

He sexually assaulted the doctor on October 26. The incident happened near the main gate of Museum early morning.
