THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Police is likely to hand over the investigation in the Parassala Sharon murder case to Tamil Nadu police. The legal advice of the AG is that it would be more appropriate for the Tamil Nadu police to investigate the case. Although Sharon died in Thiruvananthapuram Medical College, the crime and related matters took place in Tamil Nadu. The state police chief had sought the legal advice of AG regarding this. At the same time, the government lawyer also conveyed the same opinion to the police.

The crime and related matters took place within the limits of Palukal Police Station in Tamil Nadu. The case has been registered by the Parassala Police. According to the legal advice of the AG, although there is no legal impediment to the Kerala Police investigating the case, it is more appropriate to hand it over to the Tamil Nadu Police.
