PUNE: Violinist Shalish Shasidharan (47) collapsed and died at the railway station. He died Wednesday morning in Nagpur. He was residing near New Priyadarshani School on Bhosari Dighi Road. His death was following a cardiac arrest.
He had gone with Symphony Bhosari team for a ganamela at the Ayyppa Temple in Nagpur as part of mandalapooja. He collapsed while standing in the railway station yesterday morning. Though he was rushed to the emergency department, he was declared dead by then.
His body will be taken to Pune after post mortem. He is a native of Chathumpara in Attingal. He leaves behind his father Shasidharan, mother Leela, wife Archana and son Preeth.
