Rishabh Pant’s surgery successful; player under observation, states hospital authorities

NEW DELHI: The surgery of Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant, who was injured in a car accident, has been successfully completed. The surgery was performed on his knee. He is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Mumbai. The hospital authorities informed that the surgery was completed successfully and Rishabh Pant is under observation.

Rishabh Pant was injured in a car accident in Haridwar on the Delhi-Dehradun highway in the morning of December 30th. The car hit the divider and slid to the other side of the road. The car was completely burnt. He miraculously survived the accident.

Rishabh Pant was initially admitted to a hospital in Dehradun. From there he was transferred to a hospital in Mumbai. The CCTV footage of the accident was released earlier.
