KOCHI: Aparna Balamurali responds to the misconduct of the student. Aparna made it clear that what happened in Law college was unexpected and should not have happened and that she is satisfied with the actions taken by authorities. Aparna was giving her response in a press meet as part of the promotion of her new movie 'Thankam'.

'It should not have happened in Law college. The college authorities know what action should be taken and they have done that. All the students who were present there apologized.' She also added that she respects the college.

Aparna faced misbehavior from a student when she went for the college union program. The student who came to offer flowers grabbed Aparna's hand and tried to put his hand on her shoulder. The student apologized when Aparna express discomfort. There were criticisms once the video went viral. The college suspended the student.
