Immediate resolution to all agricultural problems: Krishi Darshan where minister and officials sought farmers kickstarted

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Taking a turn from farm crop-based scheme planning, the agriculture department is going ahead with a farmland-based scheme planning, said Agriculture Minister P Prasad. Through such schemes, we can find value-added entrepreneurship schemes and the farmers can increase their profits, added the minister. Krishi Darshan is the program where ministers and officials focus on agricultural blocks to visit and overview farmers and farmland. Minister was speaking on the first day of the Krishi Darshan program in Nedumangad block addressing the department heads of LSGD. The meeting was organized under the chairmanship of G. R. Anil, Minister of Food and Civil Supplies.

In the function, B Ashok IAS -Agricultural secretary, S Subramanian IIS- Director of Soil Survey & Soil Conservation department, Aarathi LR IES-Specialist officer, S Sabir Hussain- Additional Secretary, Additional directors, and other officials from Agriculture and related departments attended. Subhash TV IAS-Director of Agriculture Department gave the welcome speech and Baiju S Simon-Principal Agriculture Officer gave the thank you note.
