Woman dies after hit by racing bike in capital city, youth in serious condition

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A woman died after hit by a racing bike in Kovalam. She has been identified as Sandhya (55) of Vazhamuttom. The rider and a native of Pottakuzhi in Pattom also sustained serious injuries. He has been admitted at the medical college hospital.

The bike hit the woman during racing. The accident happened when Sandhya was crossing the road. The incident happened Sunday morning at 8 am. She died on the spot itself. Eye witnesses said the bike was over-speeded.
