MUMBAI: There is a rumour of a rift between Indian cricket team superstar and Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya and his brother Krunal Pandya. The rumours intensified when Krunal celebrated the wicket of Hardik in the Mumbai-Bengaluru match in the IPL. The two, who usually show great friendship and affection on the field even while playing in different teams, behaved oddly on Sunday.

Hardik Pandya's dismissal at a crucial time, after scoring 40 runs off 22 balls in the match, had put Mumbai in a bad situation. Krunal's wild celebration during Hardik's dismissal is now the talk of the town. Hardik was dismissed by Romario Shepherd off Jacob Duffy in the 15th over of the innings. A video of Krunal Pandya jumping and dancing while running towards Shepherd has gone viral on social media.

Krunal does not usually celebrate his brother’s dismissal, and there have been many incidents in the past where he used to run to Hardik and console him. However, reports suggest that the relationship between the brothers has not been very good in recent times. After separating from his wife, Natasa Stankovic, Hardik is now dating Mahika Sharma. Rumours have it that the brothers fell out over this relationship.

Hardik Pandya is now splashing crores for his girlfriend, Mahika. It is usual for Hardik to shower his partner with luxurious gifts. Despite the rumours over the rift, the Pandya brothers have chosen not to respond to the talks on social media.
