JAIPUR: After suffering five consecutive defeats, Rajasthan Royals have finally secured a victory in the IPL. In a fiery match where 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi turned into a blazing star, Rajasthan chased down Gujarat Titans’ total of 210 runs with 25 balls to spare. Vaibhav Suryavanshi, along with Yashasvi Jaiswal, built a 166-run partnership from 71 balls for the first wicket before Vaibhav was dismissed for 101 off 38 balls. His brilliant innings ended with a stunning yorker from Prasidh Krishna.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who is the youngest player in IPL history, set the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on fire with his scintillating batting. He also became the youngest player ever to score a century in the Indian Premier League and climbed to second place behind Chris Gayle for the fastest century in IPL history. Vaibhav now holds the record for the fastest century by an Indian player in the IPL.
Yashasvi Jaiswal remained unbeaten with 70 runs off 40 balls. Nitish Rana scored 4 runs from 2 balls, while Riyan Parag remained not out with 32 runs from 15 balls.
Earlier, batting first, Gujarat Titans posted 209 runs for the loss of four wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Shubman Gill scored 84 runs from 50 balls, hitting four sixes and five boundaries. Jos Buttler, who faced 26 balls, remained unbeaten with 50 runs, including four sixes and three boundaries. Opener Sai Sudharsan scored 39 runs from 30 balls before getting out.
