TEL AVIV: US President Joe Biden will pay a visit to Israel amidst the Israel-Hamas war. Biden will arrive in Israel tomorrow. Joe Biden will hold talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
With Israel announcing that there would be no ceasefire and only the elimination of Hamas, a ground war in Gaza became imminent. Israel also stated yesterday that it will not capture Gaza and this is due to American intervention.
The office of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's rejected the news that a five-hour ceasefire was agreed to allow people to evacuate through southern Gaza before the ground war. Hamas also responded that the Rafah border between Egypt and Gaza is closed and that there is no ceasefire.
Meanwhile, Iran stated yesterday that Hamas will release the hostages if Israel stops the airstrikes. Israel confirmed that there were 199 hostages. The report so far was 152 people.
Expecting an attack by Hezbollah if the ground war starts, Israel has taken steps to evacuate people within two kilometres of the Lebanese border. 28 villages are being evacuated. Hezbollah, which has a large number of Iranian weapons, has the ability to strike Hamas.
