JAMMU: The army, which is moving ahead with its operations to eliminate terrorists in Kashmir, has killed three more terrorists. They were killed in an encounter that took place in Nadir village of Pulwama district Thursday morning. This is the second encounter in Jammu and Kashmir in 48 hours. Reports said the dead are Jaish-e-Mohammed activists. The army is conducting a search operation in the area.
Two of the three terrorists killed in the encounter with the army on Tuesday morning have been identified as Shahid Kuttay and Adnal Shafi, residents of Shopian. Officials said that Shahid joined Lashkar in 2023 and is clearly involved in several incidents of violence. He was also involved in the killing of BJP sarpanch in Heerpora, Shopian in May last year.
Adnal Shafi joined Lashkar last year. He was also involved in the killing of a migrant worker at Wachi in Shopian. More information about the third person killed is not clear. A large number of weapons were also seized from them.
After the attack in Pahalgam, the army has intensified its action against terrorists. The army is taking steps to permanently root out terrorism from the state. With the Pahalgam incident, the people of Kashmir have become more opposed to terrorists and the Pakistan that supports them.
