NEW DELHI: The SCALP missiles and HAMMER bombs integrated into the Rafale jets procured by India from France were used to precisely strike nine terrorist camps located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. These GPS and laser-guided weapons are known for their pinpoint accuracy. Prior to the airstrikes, drones such as the IAI Harop from Israel and Tata Advanced Systems' LLS-50 were deployed to gather detailed intelligence on the terrorist camps.
SCALP Missile
– Also known as “Storm Shadow,” it is an air-launched cruise missile.
– Delivered along with Rafale fighter jets (can also be integrated with Sukhoi and Mirage aircraft).

– Played a key role in accurately neutralising terror camps near the border.
– Strike range: 70 km; Warhead: 1,000 kg of explosives.
– Weight: 340 kg; Length: 3.1 meters.
