Massive development in next 10 years; Will create a poverty-free, women-powered India: Modi

NEW DELHI: Narendra Modi said that he will come to power for the third time with the aim of developing India in the next ten years. 25 crore poor people will be freed from poverty. A women-led development policy will be implemented. He said Congress-led opposition cannot stop them.

Modi was speaking at the NDA meeting held in the central hall of Parliament after being elected as the leader. He did not forget to attack the Congress and the 'India' front.

'The verdict proves that the country has only faith in NDA. It is a strong relationship of 30 years. The front worked on mutual trust. It is only natural that the nation's hopes rise in unwavering faith. He said that the last 10 years are only a trailer is not an election statement, but a commitment. The goal of developed India will be implemented.

Despite being in the opposition for 10 years, the Congress could not touch 100 seats. BJP won more votes in this election than Congress got in 2014, 2019 and 2024 elections. 'India' alliance will quickly fall apart. NDA will continue growing. Even after 10 years, Congress will be sleeping.

Leaders of all parties are equal in NDA. That's why it's been going strong for 30 years. This is the most successful combination. NDA is in government in seven out of 10 states with a tribal presence, in Goa and the North-East, which has a majority of Christians. People gave NDA a chance in 22 states.

NDA has strengthened its base in South India. In Karnataka and Telangana people voted for NDA due to their distrust in the state government. Although we did not win in Tamil Nadu, our vote share increased', said Modi.
