THRISSUR: Union Minister Suresh Gopi is set to start the 'SG Coffee Times' programme again amidst BJP's Kalunk debate constantly turning controversial. The new change comes after criticism arose within the BJP that the controversies in the Kalunk debate program had backfired. It is reported that the first program of SG Coffee Times will be held at Ayyanthole and Puthurkkara in Thrissur.

The reference 'Prajakal' (subjects), which Suresh Gopi constantly used during the Kalunk debates, had led to a lot of criticism. Various types of criticism were raised against the programme. SG Coffee Times is being resumed when this situation persists.

Just before the Lok Sabha elections, Suresh Gopi had organized a programme called SG Coffee Times in the same manner as the Kalunk Sabha by going to various constituencies. The programme was organized in public places to interact with people and learn about things. The programme was stopped after he became a union minister. He later interacted with people in the name of Kalunk debate.
