PALAKKAD: Cows attacked in Ottapalam. Three cows were injured, including in their genitals. The cows of Haridasan, a native of Varode, Ottapalam, were attacked. The incident took place around 2 pm on Wednesday. The cows were attacked when they were left to graze in a nearby field.

Haridasan, who had come home for lunch in the afternoon, found the cows missing when he was about to go back. During the subsequent search, a cow was found tied to a teak tree near the field. Another cow was found in the nearby forest. One cow had broken the rope and reached home on its own.

Haridasan noticed that the cows were bleeding when he checked the cows tied to the stable after noticing that they were writhing. A veterinarian was called to examine the cows, and it was found that they had injuries, including internal organs. The cows were treated. Haridasan has filed a complaint with the Ottapalam police regarding the incident.
