Death due to electrocution repeats in Kerala; brothers meet tragic end at chicken farm

KALPETTA: Brothers die after getting electrocuted at a chicken farm in Wayanad's Vazhavatta. Anoop (37) and Shinu (35), sons of Varkey, a native of Karinkannikkunnu, died. The accident occurred around 8 am today. It is reported that they were electrocuted by the electric fence installed around the farm.

The brothers were running a chicken farm on lease. Both of them were found electrocuted on the farm during a search operation after both of them went missing. They were immediately taken to the hospital in Kalpetta, but their lives could not be saved. Shinu's body is at the Kalpetta General Hospital, and Anoop's body is at a private hospital in Kalpetta. Meenangadi police and KSEB officials visited the chicken farm and inspected it.
