Finally lucky winner found: Native of Iritty wins Rs 20 crore in lottery, ticket sold by Muthu Agency

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The first prize of Christmas-New Year Bumper Lottery of Rs 20 crores goes to Sathyan of Iritty. The first prize was won by the ticket XD 387132 sold by Muthu Lottery Agency in Kannur. The draw of lots was taken by Finance Minister K N Balagopal in Thiruvananthapuram. 20 people will get Rs 1 crore each as second prize.

The finance minister releasing the new summer bumper lottery said the state lottery is a great contribution to the progress of the state. The minister added that the Kerala Lottery is a wonder for the people of neighboring states and they often inquire about how the lottery can be conducted with such authenticity. The minister said the timely distribution of prizes and transparency in the operation are behind the success of the Kerala Lottery.
