Five injured after thunder bomb falls on mob and explodes during fireworks display in Kannur

KANNUR: A thunder bomb fell on a mob and exploded amidst fireworks display in Azhikode. Five people were injured in the accident. Reports said one of them is in a critical condition. The incident happened early Friday morning during the festival at the Neerkadavu Muchiriyan temple.


The thunder bomb fell on to the mob who gathered there to watch Theyyam. A 12-year-old child is among the injured. The seriously injured person has been taken to a hospital in Mangalore. The others are undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kannur.
