Photographer manhandled while trying to click pictures of Jayasurya in Kottiyoor

KANNUR: A photographer was manhandled for trying to click pictures of actor Jayasurya in Kottiyoor temple. The photographer, who was manhandled is Sajeevan Nair. It is reported that the people who were with Jayasurya assaulted the photographer.

The incident happened Friday morning at around 8:30 in Akkare Kottiyoor. Sajeevan Nair was entrusted by Kottiyoor Devaswom Board to take pictures till the end of the rituals. He is also a local journalist.

When Jayasurya arrived in the morning, Sajeevan tried to take a picture as requested by the Devaswom. Reports said that he was assaulted during this time. Sajeevan, who was assaulted, sought treatment at the hospital in Kottiyoor.
