THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Some flux boards and posters were seen against K M Shajahan, owner of YouTube channel and private secretary of former Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan, in the cyber-attack case against K J Shine, CPM leader.

The posters read 'should pull out Shajahan’s tongue for making defamatory remarks against women', 'Shajahan, insulting womanhood is a social disaster'. The posters were in the name of an organization called Cheruvakkal Janakeeya Samithi.

The police had searched Shajahan's house yesterday. The police reached his house in Ulloor at 10.15 pm. He and his family were in the house at that time. The search conducted by the Ernakulam Rural Cyber Police and Paravur Police lasted for half an hour. Shajahan's phone was seized.

Shajahan was also asked to appear before the Ernakulam Cyber Police today. The police have registered a case against him for posting a video on his YouTube channel insulting K J Shine and MLA V N Unnikrishnan.

Apart from Shajahan, the police had also searched the house of Congress leader C K Gopalakrishnan in Kedamangalam, who is also accused in the defamation case against Shine. Gopalakrishnan is absconding. His phone was taken into custody from his home.
