chavarukavu-suresh

KOLLAM: Snake catcher Chavarukavu Suresh, who turned approver in the Uthra murder case, said that he will apologise to her family. He said this while talking to the media after released from jail yesterday. He was in jail for 17 months.

‘I did not know that Sooraj bought the cobra to kill Uthra. Sooraj got my number from my YouTube videos. He told me that he was a fan of me. He first talked to me on the phone and then on February 18 in 2020, came to see me in Chathanur. After that he talked constantly and established a cordial relationship. Two days after Uthra’s death, he called me. I asked him why he committed this great sin. Sooraj then said that if Chettan did not reveal it, it would end as a curse of snake. Sooraj then told him that if he reveals it to anybody, then he will also be involved in the murder. I will never do such a thing knowingly. I too have three children. I spent my days in jail praying,’ he said.
