THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Thiruvonam Bumper Lottery with a first prize of Rs 25 crore will be drawn today. The draw will be held at 1 pm at Gorky Bhavan in the presence of Finance Minister KN Balagopal. The draw, which was scheduled to be held on September 27, was postponed to today due to technical reasons. 75 lakh Thiruvonam Bumper Lottery tickets were sold. Palakkad sold the highest number of tickets - 14.07 lakh. 9.37 lakh tickets were sold in Thrissur and 8.75 lakh tickets were sold in Thiruvananthapuram.
The launch of the Pooja Bumper Lottery will be held on the same venue. The first prize is 12 crore. The ticket price is Rs 300. The draw will be held on November 22 at 2 pm.
