Woman found dead at husband's house in Thrissur; police suspect murder

THRISSUR: A young woman’s death at her husband’s house in Thrissur is now suspected to be a murder. Unnimaya (30), a native of Avinissery, was found dead at her husband’s house in Anakkal, Thrissur. Unnimaya's husband, Sivaprasad, was taken into custody by the police in the incident. She fought with Sivaprasad and was later found dead in the room on the day of the incident.

The incident took place on Thursday morning. Unnimaya, an employee of a private firm in Thrissur, was preparing to go to work here in the morning. However, she fought with Sivaprasad and later went to her room. After a while, when her husband's mother and locals checked the room, they found Unnimaya lying motionless. Unnimaya was immediately taken to the district hospital, but she was declared dead.

The Nedupuzha police took her husband, Sivaprasad, into custody. Locals and residents say that the couple often quarrelled. Unnimaya's body was shifted to the district hospital morgue.
