Big split in votes! Mohanlal declares winner of Bigg Boss Malayalam season 7

KOTTAYAM: Expectations of a few went askew while a split in votes raised the tensions as actor and host Mohanlal declared the winner of reality show Bigg Boss season 7 on Sunday. After accessing the votes and killing the anticipation of viewers, Mohanlal held the hands of Anumol and raised them higher, tacitly declaring her the winner of this year’s highly contested show. This is the second time that a woman has emerged as the winner of the Bigg Boss Malayalam season. Earlier, Dilsha Prasannan had won the Bigg Boss season 4.

This time, the final top five were Anumol, Aneesh, Shanavas, Nevin, and Akbar. Only one woman was in the top five. Among them, Akbar was the first to be eliminated. Nevin and Shanavas were also eliminated, respectively. Later, Mohanlal, who had come to the Bigg Boss house, invited Aneesh and Anumol to the grand stage for the biggest spectacle of the show.
