KOCHI: M Sivasankar, arrested in the Life Mission bribery case, will be in custody for four more days. When he was produced in the court after the end of his five-day custody, the ED demanded that they want him in custody for four more days. The ED informed the court that further custodial interrogation was required and it would be completed within four days. The ED said Sivasankar's involvement in the bribery case is more extensive. After that he was granted custody for another four days. Sivasankar informed the court that he has no complaint against the officials.

The ED had earlier stated that Sivasankar was not cooperating with the interrogation. As part of this, the chartered accountant who opened the locker where the bribe money was found, and the former CEO of Life Mission, U V Jose, were interrogated along with Sivasankar. It is reported that the ED has received many crucial information. The ED will summon C M Ravindran, former additional private secretary to the chief minister, to seek clarity on the WhatsApp chats of Sivasankar and Swapna. This is because there are mentions of Ravindran in the chats. Swapna Suresh also demanded that Ravindran should be questioned in the case.
