NEW DELHI: The case of a Japanese woman being affronted in the garb of Holi celebrations is picking up pace. The Delhi police showed initial lax registering the case but were forced to rectify it after the national women's commission craned its neck in this issue. NCW member and actor, Khusbu Sundar reacted to the viral video which has now upended the case.
The incident happened on Wednesday when a troop of youngsters played colors on the Japanese national and smashed eggs on her head. The woman visibly uncomfortable wriggled out of the crowd and was seen slapping a man who tried to block her. She was initially fondled with colors and was seen trying ways to escape from the raucous celebration.
Sickening. The woman has to send a notice to NCW.
