THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader V D Satheesan said the plaintiff has turned accused in the assembly ruckus. Though the proceedings started in the assembly today, had to be adjourned after nine minutes following protests by the opposition. The uproar escalated over the filing of a case against the opposition MLAs under the non-bailable section. Satheesan responded to the media after the assembly was adjourned.
'When the all-party meeting was convened at 8 am yesterday morning, the FIRs were registered at half past two in the morning. The hypocrisy of registering fake cases at midnight and calling an all-party meeting at eight o'clock is now clear to everyone. The all-party meeting was called not to settle but to provoke the opposition. The government is accusing the opposition MLAs who are plaintiffs. A case has not been registered on the complaint of K K Rema. Will not cooperate with the government in any of their functions. The chief minister's arrogance will not work,' he said.
