Heavy rains in Kerala for next three hours, IMD warns selected districts

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The central metrological department has warned the state of heavy rain and lightning in the next three hours. Pathanamthitta, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, and Palakkad are the districts pinpointed by the IMD to take caution. The warning also hinted about possible wind and rain that can surpass a speed of 40 km per hour.

Meanwhile, the authorities cleared doubts regarding fishing activities. There is reportedly no danger for fishermen folks to go get their catch in the regions of Kerala, Karnataka, and Lakshadweep.
