Nursing student arrested for smuggling MDMA on tourist bus from Bengaluru

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A nursing student was arrested with 47 grams of MDMA at Amaravila check post. Kollam Chandanthoppu native Surath has been nabbed by the Excise while smuggling MDMA in a tourist bus from Bengaluru.

Surath is a nursing student in Bengaluru and the excise seized MDMA while checking his bag during bus inspection. The Excise said that he is being questioned.

Meanwhile, two youths were arrested with MDMA in Alappuzha. Ambalappuzha natives Mahin (20) and Irfan (19) were caught in a joint inspection by Punnapra police and DANSAF. They have been stocking the MDMA for sale. The accused were produced in court and later remanded.
