LUCKNOW: A case has been registered after Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath received a death threat over a call. The call was made by an unknown person in the emergency number 112 set up by the UP government.
“I will kill Chief Minister Yogi soon”, threatened the man. A case has been registered under Sections 506, 507 of the IPC and IT Act,66 against the unknown person, the Uttar Pradesh Police said.
Earlier, the Kerala Police had arrested the accused who had written a letter threatening to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi during Kerala visit. Xavier (58) was arrested for writing a fake letter in his neighbour’s name due to personal revenge. The accused is running a catering establishment near Kathrikadavu. He was taken into custody on Saturday and was arrested on the last day. The case has been filed for sending threatening messages and trying to create riot.
