'Like his Somalia gaffe, PM Modi should apologize to Kerala', A A Rahim criticizes PM Modi's praise for movie 'The Kerala Story'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has eulogized the controversial film “The Kerala Story”. The PM was at his campaigning for the Karnataka elections in Bellary when he questioned the ill motives of Congress and other parties trying to stymie the release of the movie. Taking this into shoulders, CPM MP A A Rahim has trained guns on PM Modi. Rahim said the movie was a planned one from Sangh quarters to wreck the harmonious abode of Kerala. The MP highlighted the tacit support from the PM as the base for the movie to spew hate.

“ PM Modi came backing the controversial movie. Are there any doubts left behind about whose brain the movie was all about? The sangh looks to torment the religious coexistence of Kerala to reap votes. The PM who is the powerful authority positioned to ensure the coexistence of all religions is seen spearheading a divisive policy. It is a shame and a new low from the sangh parivar top gun. PM @narendramodi's whitewashing of anti-Kerala propaganda movie is uncalled for. A person holding constitutional office should have stood strong along the side of facts, and not hate-propaganda. He must withdraw his statements and apologise to the people of Kerala immediately.
