Loka Kerala Sabha: Chief Minister and team leave for US

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The American Regional Conference of the Loka Kerala Sabha will be held in New York from June 9 to 11. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and his team left for America at 3 am today to participate in this conference. The team consists of Minister KN Balagopal, Speaker AN Shamseer, Chief Secretary VP Joy and other senior officials. Chief Minister's wife Kamala Vijayan and personal assistant are also travelling with the team to the USA.

The Chief Minister will formally inaugurate the Loka Kerala Sabha at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square on the 10th. The Chief Minister will visit the 9/11 Memorial in New York tomorrow. He will also visit the UN headquarters. He will inaugurate the Business Investment Meet at Marriot Marquis on June 11.

The Chief Minister will address the expatriate community at a public meeting at Times Square that evening. On the 12th, the Chief Minister will meet Martin Reiser, Vice President of the World Bank South Asia Region in Washington DC. On the 13th, he will visit the Maryland waste management systems. The CM will travel to Havana on the 14th.
