World Weightlifting Championship: Mirabai Chanu, who won silver last time, is determined to win gold this time

NOIDA: Two-time medal winner Saikhom Mirabai Chanu will once again lead the Indian challenge at the World Weightlifting Championships in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in September this year.

Apart from Chanu (49 kg), Commonwealth Games medalists Bindyarani Devi (55 kg), Achinta Sheuli (73 kg), Shubham Todkar (61 kg), and Narayana Ajith (73 kg) will also compete in the championship. All except Todkar will also compete in the Asian Games. This will be Chanu's first competition since the Asian Championships in May. Chanu and Bindyarani are currently undergoing 65 days of training in St. Louis, US.
