Antony Raju sought help of Latin Church to continue his ministry; pure lie says minister

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Father Eugene Pereira's revelation that Antony Raju sought the help of the Latin Church to remain in ministry for five years instead of two and a half years. Fr Eugene Pereira told a channel that Antony Raju had asked for a recommendation in this regard. However, Minister Antony Raju responded to the same channel saying that what Eugene Pereira told was a lie. The Latin Church has turned against Antony Raju when talks are going on that Antony Raju and Ahamed Devarkovil would have to step down as ministers in November as part of a Left Front deal. Eugene Perera said that Antony Raju cannot deny what he said. Antony Raju's reaction to the media that he is not the minister of the Latin church alone is what angered the church.

Eugene Pereira said that the minister has met him not once but many times. Latin Catholic Association officials had turned against the minister while the Muthalapozhi issue was burning. He was accused of turning his back on the coastal residents.
