Another Malayali win 1 million dollars in Dubai Duty Free lucky draw

DUBAI: Fortunes favoured another Malayali in Dubai Duty Free lucky draw. In the draw held on Wednesday, Shamsuddin Cheruvattantavida (36), residing in Jebel Ali, Dubai, received a prize of 1 million dollars (Rs. 8,32,40,550). Shamsudeen bought the ticket along with his brother and 9 friends. He said that the prize money will be shared with them.

The group has been buying tickets every month for the past one year in each person's name. Shamsuddin is the PRO of restaurant-supermarkets. His wife and three children are in India. Shamsuddin is the 216th Indian to win the $1 million prize in the Dubai Duty Free draw.

In other draws held in connection with this, Samaira Grover, an Indian living in Sharjah, won a BMW X5 M50 i. Thankachan Yohannan (60), a resident of Dubai, also won a Harley Davidson Sportster S motorbike.
