THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kochi Water Metro has been an instant hit right after its inauguration on April 25th. The residents of the capital city will have the opportunity to witness the innovative transport system that operates at an affordable cost. Yes, the water metro is heading to Thiruvananthapuram.
As part of Keraleeyam Janakiyolsavam program, the water metro will leave Kochi and will be put on display at Thiruvananthapuram’s Putharikandam Maithanam. The same boat that has been operating in Kochi will be used in the exhibition but not any prototype.
From November 1 to 7th, all eyes will be fixated on the boat that will occupy the main stage in Putharikandam Maithanam. The main aim of the campaign is to educate people on the need for water conservation. Kochi Water Metro works on green energy and thus is more adhered to the theme of Keeraleeyam program.
The visitors will be allowed to get into the water metro and observe the constructions and working in deep.
