Nayanthara to play a pivotal role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s new film

Baiju Bawra is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s new film after his hit films Padmavati, Bajirao Mastani and Ram Leela. He had Baiju Bawra in mind for quite some time.

It is believed to be one of the best projects of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film career. Speculations about the film's casting have been rife for the past couple of years. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this yet.

It is heard that Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt have been roped in for the lead role in this epic historical film. Deepika Padukone was initially slated to play the female lead. However, the producers refused after she demanded the remuneration given to her husband and co-star Ranveer Singh. With this, Alia Bhatt was replaced.

Deepika was the heroine in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's films 'Ram Leela' and 'Padmavati'. Alia Bhat was the female lead in the film Gangubai Kathiyawadi, which told the story of his Kamathipuram. Meantime, a national media reported that lady superstar Nayanthara is also being considered for a pivotal role in 'Baiju Bawra'.

Nayanthara has already made her debut in Bollywood with Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan'. Fans say the film will be on a different level when Nayanthara joins Ranveer and Alia. Reports said that Nayanthara has not signed the contract yet. However, she is considering the role. It is indicated that a final decision will be taken soon.
