Old student arrives with gun in school in Thrissur, opens fire in class, creates a tense situation 

THRISSUR: An old student of Vivekodayam School in Thrissur opened fire. The student identified as Jagan opened fired thrice. He fired after threatening the teachers and the students. The locals subdued Jagan, a native of Mulayam, and then handed him over to the police. It is reported that he is a drug addict.

Jagan reached the teachers room after creating a tense situation at the place where students’ cycles are parked. The police are investigating the cause of the attack. There is information that he came after saying the names of some students. A clarity would be obtained only after questioning him.

Vivekodayam is one of the oldest schools in Kerala.
