THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A top leader of the police association leaked Governor Arif Muhammad Khan's itinerary to the SFI. The Intelligence has found that the leader of the police association leaked the itinerary of the governor to the SFI yesterday morning, which the city police commissioner had directed to keep secret. It was alleged that the recording of the audio recording against the central investigation agencies by Swapna Suresh, who was in jail while the gold smuggling case was pending, was led by this officer of the state special branch for a long time.

The Governor, who was on his way to the airport from Raj Bhavan, stopped his vehicle and went towards the SFI and challenged them, which was a rare incident. The Governor loudly criticized the chief minister on the road. The police did not know what to do and even the protesters were surprised.

The car was stopped at three places and shown black flags. The governor went towards them saying 'Come on, aavo, muche maro' (come and hit me). 17 people were arrested in all the three incidents and seven were remanded.

The protest was in front of the University Library in Palayam, in front of the General Hospital and in Pettah Pallimukku. Around 30 people stopped the vehicle in front of the university and hit the bonnet and window of the car.

When the SFI tried to block him in front of Kerala Kaumudi Square, only fifty meters away from the Pettah Police Station, the Governor stepped out of the car shouting bloody criminals.

He accused the chief minister of orchestrating a bid to harm him physically. When the police tried to move the protesters, the governor went towards them. The police immediately cordoned off the governor. The governor said, 'Where is the senior officer?' Shanghumugham ACP Anuroop ran towards him. 'Arrest these bloody criminals' he said angrily. The police took some of the protestors into the jeep.

Three escaped from custody. Seeing this, the governor came towards the jeep. The SFI activists shouted 'Governor Go back'. The governor immediately shouted 'arrest these goondas'. The police took the protestors to Pettah station and put them in the cell. All this happened when the Governor was on his way to the airport to go to Delhi.
