BENGALURU: A passenger was stuck in the toilet inside the plane for two hours due to a broken lock. The incident happened last Tuesday. The incident took place inside the Spice Jet flight which had departed from Mumbai to Bengaluru. The young man was stuck in the toilet for a hundred minutes.

Flight SG 268 took off from Mumbai at 2 am on Tuesday. Reached Bengaluru around 3.45 am. Immediately after take-off, the passenger in seat number 14D went to the toilet. No matter how hard he tried, the young man could not open the door and go out. Therefore, he had to sit on the toilet throughout the flight including the landing time. The flight crew tried to pacify the young man by writing information on paper. After finally reaching the Bengaluru airport, the engineers came and opened the door of the washroom.

Spice Jet is yet to respond to the incident. After realizing that the passenger was trapped in the toilet, the staff tried to open the door from outside but failed. The young man was scared after being stuck in a narrow place. It is reported that the man was brought out by breaking the door and was given first aid.
