'No central govt effort can destabilize Kerala', says CM Pinarayi Vijayan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the central government intrusion to destabilize Kerala won’t reach fruition like in other states. The CM was responding to the debate during the motion of thanks for the Governor's policy announcement speech in the Legislative Assembly.

Pinarayi Vijayan:

The central government is trying all means to rip apart the state by putting Kerala under economic sanctions. The same tactic from the central governed has seen drastic effects with many states falling like a pack of cards.

The financial assistance to Kerala is being cut short even by violating the recommendation of the Finance Commission. This is unconstitutional. The opposition should have joined the government to protest together but they opted out. The opposition is accusing Kerala of being wasteful at a time of crisis. The opposition is mimicking the Centre's argument. UDF should retrospect their earlier plan to withdraw from the Delhi protest.

Opposition is spreading false news. They are saying as if the government is scared to protest against the centre. They even propagated falsehood saying that the Delhi protest is a conference.

It is absurd to consider Rahul Gandhi as an ideal alternative for Modi. Rahul is doing soft Hindutva to defeat the BJP. However, we are ready to join forces with Congress in states where there is a chance to defeat the BJP.
