BHOPAL: A teacher in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, named Rajendra Netham, has been suspended following complaints from students and parents. The teacher was reportedly found intoxicated at school, sitting on the steps and unable to stand. A video of the incident circulated leading to widespread concern.
Parents visited the school with grievances against the teacher after the video went viral. It has been revealed that several complaints had been lodged against Netham previously, with no action taken. Consequently, some students even stopped attending classes.

Upon noticing the viral video, the education department intervened and instructed the school to take appropriate action. The Jabalpur collector confirmed the teacher's suspension, emphasizing that such behavior from an educator expected to be a role model, is unacceptable. Authorities issued a warning to other teachers against similar misconduct.
