'Expatriates are pride of the country, India is proud of you', Prime Minister speaks Malayalam in UAE

ABU DHABI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed gratitude, stating he arrived with the warmth of his homeland while greeting expatriate Indians in the UAE. Modi hailed the expatriates' contribution, emphasizing their unity despite diverse origins.

Speaking in four South Indian languages including Malayalam, Modi praised the expatriates as a source of national pride affirming India's admiration for their endeavors.

Amidst resounding applause, Modi underscored the enduring friendship between India and the UAE referring to the UAE President as a fraternal figure. Recalling his 2019 accolade, Modi attributed the honour to the Indian populace.

Highlighting the strengthening bilateral ties, Modi anticipated a significant milestone—the dedication of a temple in Abu Dhabi. Looking ahead, he envisioned a developed India by 2047, poised to ascend as the world's third-largest economic power.
