Muhammad Roshan's illicit business with Sruthy in Karukapally apartment; Kochi police swing into action

KOCHI: Police on Wednesday nabbed two youngsters with possession of banned MDMA. Sruthy (24), a native of Thrissur, and Ernakulam native Muhammad Roshan (28) were arrested. The police conducted a sudden inspection at their apartment in Karukapally Kochi where 57 grams of MDMA was seized. The officials also doubt that the pair have been in the drug business for a long. Further investigation has been initiated in the case.

Mattancherry Assistant Commissioner KR Manoj and Inspector A V Biju in the last days arrested Asif (23) a main supplier of drugs in Palluruthy SDPY lane of Kochi. Last December, another supplier named Rakesh was arrested with five kilos of ganja by the Mattancherry police.

Information about Asif in the drug supply chain was obtained from questioning Rajesh. Asif was arrested on Monday night from the Thoppumpady side.
