The move is aimed at making lottery sales more attractive and increasing revenue. Currently, only the Fifty-Fifty lottery (priced at Rs 50) has a prize of Rs 1 crore. The move is to increase the prize money and price of other tickets similarly. The first prize for the bumpers will be decided at the respective times.

At present, 54 percent of sales are given as gifts. This will be increased to 58 percent. Printing of tickets will also be increased. This is based on the fact that at present, all printed tickets are getting sold out. In the last budget, it was announced that the printing of tickets would be increased. It is also recommended to increase the number of lottery series from 12 to 15.
