Car overturns, lands on top of house after tyre burst, four injured

PATHANAMTHITTA: Four people were injured after a car went out of control, lipped upside down and landed on top of a house. The passengers of the car are natives of Peringammala. The accident happened around 11.45 this morning. The injured has been identified as Al Ameen (20), Mubarak (16), Shanu (20) and Appu (23), who were inside the car.

They were on the way to take Appu's sister to the hospital. Meanwhile, the front tyre of the car burst at the bend near the Peringamala ration shop. After this, the car went out of control, overturned and landed on top of a house below the road. Locals saw the incident and pulled all the four people out of the car. Then they were taken to Pathanamthitta Medical College Hospital. Al Ameen was seriously injured and shifted to Kottayam Medical College Hospital.
