THRISSUR: Albeit in the farming business from the ripe age of 16, Raghu, a native of Mathur Palakkad hitherto had to experience a long dismal run that yielded no good results. However, late into his stint with agriculture, success came knocking on his doors through Rakthashali rice.

It was just ten years before that Raghu now aged 55, started farming Rakthashali rice on five acres of land. Now, the business has gone in such a way that Raghu manages to sell 10 kg of rice online daily for Rs 300 per kg. By this means, he is earning Rs 1 lakh a month. Thanks to Rakthashali rice.
